The Book-Lover Blog Tag!

Article

Hello!

Today I am doing the Book-Lover Blog Tag! Thank you so much for tagging me, Leannah!

Here are the rules…

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their blog.
  2. Include the Book-Lover Blog Tag graphic and rules in your post.
  3. Answer the questions.
  4. Nominate at least 5 new bloggers to do the tag. (I have 3)

1. What is your favorite thing about reading?

I love to read about different worlds. I also love the many different lessons and themes that stories have.

2. Which male character is your favorite?

Sean Kendrick from the Scorpio Races.

3. Which female character is your favorite?

Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games.

4. Who is your favorite villain of all time?

It’s a tie between Count Olaf from A Series of Unfortunate Events and Professor Umbridge from Harry Potter.

5. Who is your least favorite character of all time?

Eragon from The Inheritance Cycle. There are so many other characters that are very intriguing, but sadly the main character isn’t very interesting. He also doesn’t change very much between the beginning of the series and the ending.

6. Which book do you think has the strongest plot.

Either The Hunger Games or The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle. Both of the books were very hard to put down!

7. What gets on your nerves most in a story? (a boring character, unrealistic plot, etc.)

I hate it when stories don’t have a theme, or not a very good theme. Theme is what gives a story purpose. There are many great books that have themes that can be applied to real life. Those are the books that have stood the test of time (Les Miserables, Little Women, Black Beauty)

8. Which book has the best cover? (show a picture)

9. Do you let people borrow your books? If so, are you specific about how you treat them?

I do let people borrow my books. I’m not super specific on how they treat them, but I would hope that the books aren’t totally ruined when I get them back.

10. If a movie could be made based on any book, which would you choose?

I would want either The Scorpio Races or The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle turned into movies.

11. Which author has inspired you the most?

Gale Carson Levine. When I was younger, I read Ella Enchanted and loved it! I also read her books about writing, and that’s when I started writing.

12. What single book would you be unable to live without?

Ahhh! This is too hard. It’s a three way tie between The Hunger Games, Anne of Green Gables, and Walk Two Moons.

I nominate:

Maya

Cara

Abram

Until next time!

-Hannah

    I loved reading your answers!

Sean Kendrick is my favorite male character, too! He’s the best! Have you read any other books by Maggie Stiefvater?

This was a fun post. I learned a lot about what you like in books. Some of those titles, I have not heard of… I’ll have to put them on my audio book list.

Hi! I’m Hannah, a crazy pen-wielding, jack-of-all-trades writer. I write contemporary stories with a magical (or vintage!) twist, usually featuring big families, delicious food, and a few tear jerking scenes. When I’m not writing, you could find me camping, sewing, hiking, cycling, skiing, playing violin or piano, reading, and many other “-ing” words.
