The next day, I showed Aunt Ivy the ring.
“Is it Amethyst?” I asked.
“Carol, this fits the description of the ring in the legend.” Aunt Ivy said, dancing around.
“Wow!” Sarah exclaimed.
“I found it at the General Store, in the free bin.” I said.
“What if-” Aunt Ivy dropped to the ground.
Sarah screamed. Suddenly, Sarah dropped to the ground. I ran to her. Her hands were cold. Suddenly, my world went black.
